THE “MORE REWARDS^® WIN WIN EVENT”

FEBRUARY 2023 OFFICIAL RULES

The "More Rewards^® Win Win Event” (the "Digital Game") is offered by Pattison Food Group Ltd. ("Game Sponsors") and is administered by WSP International Limited ("Administrators").  Game Sponsors and Administrators herein after will be referred to as the Game Entities.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY. Making a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. You must be a registered More Rewards® member to participate, open Digital Game Tickets and win prizes in the Digital Game (see Rule 3, below).

General Information: The Digital Game is being played at approximately 225 participating Save-On-Foods, PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare, Buy-Low Foods, and Nesters Market stores (“Participating Locations”) in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Saskatchewan (SK), Manitoba (MB) and the Yukon Territories (YT).  The Digital Game is played using Digital Game Tickets (“Digital Ticket(s)”) that can be opened on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. You will automatically receive a Digital Ticket every time you make a qualifying purchase of $50.00 or more before tax with your registered More Rewards^® card at a Participating Location during the Game Period while supplies last (“qualifying purchase”). Obtain an additional (1) Digital ticket when your qualifying purchase is over $100.00 before tax. Obtain an additional (1) Digital ticket when your qualifying purchase is over $150.00 before tax. Obtain an additional (1) Digital ticket when your qualifying purchase is over $200.00 before tax. Obtain an additional (1) Digital ticket when your qualifying purchase is over $250.00 before tax. Plus, you will obtain an additional (1) Digital ticket when you make a qualifying purchase of $50.00 or more using your CIBC debit or credit card at Save-On-Foods, PriceSmart Foods or Urban Fare only. Maximum limit of six (6) Digital Tickets, by any method, per customer per day. Purchases of lotto, tobacco, gift cards, prescriptions, clinics, diabetes care, tickets, charities, wines and other alcoholic beverages, bus passes, postage stamps, insurance, delivery, deposit & recycling fees, rewards, and taxes DO NOT qualify for your purchase total.  Store Manager or Corporate More Rewards Cards do not qualify for Digital Game Tickets. You can obtain a More Rewards card free at any time by requesting a card at any Participating Location or by signing up for free at www.morerewards.ca. No Purchase Digital Tickets: You can obtain Digital Game Tickets without making a purchase by sending a 350 word paragraph describing “What you would use one million More Reward Points for” together with a 3” x 5” card legibly printed with your name, your More Rewards card number and your email address, to "More Rewards Win Win Event Digital Ticket Request”, c/o P.O. Box 3009, M.I.P, Markham, ON, L3R 6G4. Requests must be received by March 8, 2023. Limit of six (6) Digital Tickets per request, per day of the Game Period (see section Game Dates below); one request per outer mailing envelope. Your no purchase Digital Tickets will be emailed to the email address provided. No mechanically reproduced or computer-generated requests allowed.

1) GAME DATES: The Digital Game begins at the later of 12:00:01 AM, Pacific Time (“PT”) or the start of business of each Participating Location on February 16, 2023 (the "Game Start Date"). The Digital Game is scheduled to end at the earlier of 11:59:59 PM PT or the end of business of each Participating Location on March 8, 2023 (the "scheduled Game End Date") or whenever Digital Ticket supplies are exhausted, whichever occurs first. The period between the Game Start Date and the scheduled Game End Date is known as the "Game Period". Certain components of the Digital Game will start and end on different dates, as indicated elsewhere in these rules.

2) WHO CAN PLAY: The Digital Game is open to all legal residents of the Canadian provinces of BC, AB, SK, MB, and YT who have reached the age of majority, as of Game Start Date, in the province in which they reside and are a More Rewards® member. (The age of majority is 19 years in BC and YT; 18 years in AB, SK, and MB).

3) HOW TO PLAY: There are three ways to play and win, including: INSTANT WIN, SPIN TO WIN, and DIGITAL ONLINE SWEEPSTAKES. After making a qualifying transaction, you will be issued your eligible Digital ticket(s). If you have subscribed to receive email communications on your More Rewards® account, you will receive your Digital ticket via email. Follow the instructions in the email to open your Digital ticket. Then, as instructed, click to open your Digital ticket to reveal your prize messages. Continue to follow the instructions to Spin to Win and earn Digital Sweepstakes entries. If you have not subscribed to emails, you can access your Digital ticket at any time via the More Rewards^® Win Win Event website by logging in with your More Rewards® account at www.winwinevent.ca and following the instructions on screen. If you have not subscribed to receive emails and wish to, you can either log into your More Rewards^® account and subscribe or reach out to More Rewards^® Customer Support at morerewardsinformation@owfg.com. ALL DIGITIAL TICKETS EXPIRE ON MARCH 22, 2023. AFTER MARCH 22, 2023, NO DIGITAL TICKETS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO BE OPENED TO REVEAL ANY OF THE DIGITAL GAME MESSAGES AS INDICATED HEREIN.

4) PRIZES:

4A) INSTANT PRIZES: When you open your Digital Ticket, ALL tickets will reveal a message stating “You’ve Won!” followed by the description of an Instant Product Prize or More Rewards^® Points, collectively Instant Prizes (“Instant Prizes”).  The total number of prizes available depend on the number of Digital Tickets issued. Not all Digital Game Tickets may be distributed. Overall odds of winning an Instant Prize are 1 in 1.  

The following are offered as Instant Prizes in the 3,229,000 Digital tickets available for distribution:

Digital Ticket Game: After you open your Digital Ticket you will also receive a message stating that you have received one (1) spin in the Spin to Win game.  You can win Instant Spin to Win Prizes (“Instant Spin Prizes”) as detailed in the chart below, or you can earn Sweepstakes Ballots into our Online Sweepstakes Draws (see rule 3C below). To Spin to Win (“Spin or Spins”), simply click on the spin to win button shown on your screen, and you could instantly win one our Spin Prizes or receive Ballot Entries into our Online Sweepstakes Draws.

Bonus Spins from Bonus Codes: Beginning February 16, 2023, and continuing throughout the sweepstakes period, the Sweepstakes Sponsor will post Bonus Codes on their social media pages (including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook). Customers can enter the Bonus Codes at www.winwinevent.ca and receive one (1) or more Bonus Spins per Bonus Code entered. See social media post for details. Bonus Codes can only be entered once. Facebook and Instagram in no way sponsor these Sweepstakes.

Bonus Spin for Opt-in for Email Communications: You can earn three additional (3) Bonus Spin when follow the instructions to subscribe to emails from More Rewards on in the Spin to Win game. Limit of three (3) email opt-in bonus spin per More Rewards^® card.

You can access your Spin to Win Game spins at any time throughout the Game Period by going to www.winwinevent.ca.

SPIN TO WIN INSTANT PRIZES: In total there will be 1,050,100 Spin to Win Prizes available to be won. See chart below for the list of prizes to be won. All Instant Spin to Win winners will be randomly selected. All non-winning spins will randomly receive five (5), ten (10), twenty-five (25), or five hundred (500) Ballot Entries into our Online Sweepstakes Draws (see rule 4C below). Odds of winning any Spin to Win Instant Prize is based on an estimated 4,067,000 total spins and are outlined in the chart below:

More Rewards^® points: Prizes will be awarded as More Rewards^® points applied to the winner’s More Rewards card by April 15, 2023. The value of More Rewards^® points varies with the method of redemption and any offers in effect by More Rewards from time to time.

4C) DIGITAL ONLINE SWEEPSTAKES GAME: There are two (2) ways to earn Online entries for the Digital Sweepstakes game including: the Digital Ticket game and by earning Bonus Sweepstakes entries.

Digital Ticket Game: When you open your Digital Ticket and Spin to Win, and if you did not win an Instant Spin to Win Prize, you will receive a message stating that you have received five (5), ten (10), twenty-five (25), or five hundred (500) Online Entries for a chance to win in our Digital Online Sweepstakes. See chart below for the list of available prizes and additional prize details.

Bonus Sweepstakes Entries: You can also earn Bonus Online Sweepstakes Entries when you purchase participating products. You can earn fifty (50) Bonus Sweepstakes Entries when you purchase participating products and make a minimum $50.00 qualifying purchase. Participating products will be identified in stores with signage and a downloadable list of participating products is available at www.winwinevent.ca. You will receive 50 Bonus Sweepstakes Entries for every participating product that you purchase, as flagged in store, with your registered More Rewards^® card throughout the Game Period.

ONLINE SWEESPTAKES DRAWING PRIZES:

The total approximate retail value of all Online Sweepstakes Prizes is $126,350.00.

Groceries for a Year: There will be fifteen (15) drawings held to award a total of fifteen (15) prizes of Groceries for a Year valued at $5,200.00 in Save-On-Foods Gift Cards. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham. Prizes are awarded based on one (1) prize per each of fifteen (15) geographic communities (“Community” or “Communities”) of the Participating Stores (1. Vancouver Island, 2. Fraser Valley, 3. Vancouver Coastal, 4. Thompson Okanagan, 5. Kootenay Rockies, 6. Cariboo / Chilcotin / Coast, 7. Northern British Columbia and the Yukon, 8. South British Columbia, 9. Edmonton, 10. North Alberta, 11. Calgary, 12. South Alberta, 13. Manitoba, 14. North Saskatchewan, and 15. South Saskatchewan), for a total of fifteen (15) prizes. All winners will be randomly selected per drawing from among all eligible online entries received in each Community prior to the drawing. Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible online entries received in each Community in prior to each drawing. Prizes are nontransferable and have no cash substitution, in part or in whole. Million More Rewards^® points: There will be five (5) drawings held to award a total of five (5) prizes of 1,000,000 More Rewards^® points.  Prizes will be awarded as 1,000,000 More Rewards^® points applied to the winner’s More Rewards card. The value of More Rewards^® points varies with the method of redemption and any offers in effect by More Rewards from time to time. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham.

$3,000 WestJet Gift Card: There will be one (1) drawing held on March 23, 2023, to award one (1) prize of a $3,000 WestJet gift card.  Prize will be awarded as one (1) WestJet e-gift card or plastic gift card, in the amount of $3,000. Draw will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham. Gift card terms and conditions apply, see card for details.

500 WestJet Dollars: There will be fifteen (15) drawings held on March 23, 2023, to award fifteen (15) prizes of 500 WestJet Dollars. Prize will be awarded as 500 WestJet Dollars, applied to the winner’s WestJet Rewards account. Prizes are awarded based on one (1) prize per each of fifteen (15) geographic communities (“Community” or “Communities”) of the Participating Stores (1. Vancouver Island, 2. Fraser Valley, 3. Vancouver Coastal, 4. Thompson Okanagan, 5. Kootenay Rockies, 6. Cariboo / Chilcotin / Coast, 7. Northern British Columbia and the Yukon, 8. South British Columbia, 9. Edmonton, 10. More on WestJet Dollars: WestJet dollars can be used towards payment of the base fare of an eligible flight or vacation package, available on westjet.com or through WestJet’s contact center.  One WestJet dollar is equivalent to one Canadian dollar when redeemed on the base fare portion of an eligible flight or vacation package. WestJet dollars cannot be used towards the payment of taxes, fees, or charges. These WestJet Dollars will expire one (1) year after creation date. You must be a member of WestJet Rewards to be eligible to receive WestJet Dollars. Gas for a Year:  There will be three (3) drawings held to award a total of three (3) prizes of Gas for a Year, following the schedule above.  Prize will be awarded in multiple Chevron or Fas Gas Gift Cards totaling but not exceeding $2,500.00. Gift card terms and conditions may apply, see gift card for details. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham.

Panago Pizza for a Year: There will be two (2) drawings held to award a total of two (2) prizes of Free Panago Pizza for a Year, following the schedule above. Prizes will be awarded as $1,200.00 in Panago Pizza Gift Cards. Gift card terms and conditions may apply, see gift card for details. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham.

Grocery Delivery for a Year: There will be five (5) drawings held to award a total of ten (10) prizes of Free Save On Foods Grocery Delivery for a Year, following the schedule above. Prize will be awarded as free Save On Foods grocery delivery service for a year, valued up to $500.00. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham.

Grocery Pickup for a Year: There will be five (5) drawings held to award a total of ten (10) prizes of Free Save On Foods Grocery Pickup for a Year, following the schedule above. Prize will be awarded as free Save On Foods grocery pickup service for a year, valued up to $150.00. Draws will take place on the date(s) as shown on the table above, at the offices of the Administrators in Markham.

All winners will be randomly selected per drawing from among all non-winning, eligible online entries received prior to each drawing. All non-winning online entries will automatically rollover into subsequent drawings. Odds of winning any prize depends on the number of eligible online entries received prior to each drawing. Prizes are nontransferable and have no cash substitution, in part or in whole. Drawings will take place by the Game Administrators, at their offices on the dates detailed in the chart above. Limit one (1) prize per person. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the “Authorized Email Account Holder” of the email address provided by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (i.e., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

5) NOTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION:

5A) WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET A DIGITAL TICKET WITH AN INSTANT WIN MESSAGE:

INSTANT PRODUCT PRIZES: As indicated on the instructions on screen, your prize will be automatically loaded to the More Rewards card that the Digital ticket was issued to. No more than one (1) of the same Instant Prize can be loaded to your More Rewards card. Go to any Participating Location, pick up the product described and checkout using the More Rewards^® card associated with the Digital ticket to claim your prize. Does not include applicable taxes or bottle deposit.

INSTANT MORE REWARDS^® POINTS PRIZES: As indicated on the instructions on screen, your prize will be automatically loaded to the More Rewards^® card that the Digital ticket was issued to, after your next in-store or online transaction. Go to any Participating Location, and checkout using your More Rewards^® card associated with the Digital ticket issued to claim your prize.

You must have a valid More Rewards^® card to redeem Instant Product Prizes or More Rewards^® Points Prizes. (More Rewards^® cards are free –see General Game Information above for details). Winners will be required to verbally answer a skill-testing question upon redemption.

All prize claims are subject to verification by Administrator and/or personnel authorized by the Game Sponsor at the Participating Location at which the prize claim is presented and surrendered for redemption.

Instant Prizes cannot be combined with any other offer. Total redemption may not exceed the retail value of the item. All Instant Product Prizes and Instant More Rewards^® Points Prizes must be redeemed before close of business on March 22, 2023, unless otherwise noted herein.

Any unclaimed Instant Prizes will be forfeited and will not be awarded to alternate winners. 

5B) WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU WIN A SPIN TO WIN PRIZE: If you are randomly chosen as an Instant Spin to Win prize winner for More Reward Points, you will be notified onscreen.  Your More Rewards Points will be automatically added to your More Rewards account on March 29, 2023.

5C) WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU WIN A DIGITAL ONLINE SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: If you have been selected as a potential winner in any of the drawings described above, the Game Sponsor or Administrator will notify you via email and/or phone. As a condition of awarding any Digital Online Sweepstakes prize, winner must have signed and returned, within seven (7) days of receipt, the Game Sponsor’s Compliance, Release, and Indemnity Form under which, among other matters, winner confirms his/her compliance and eligibility with these Official Rules, completes, provides proof of identity and releases, and indemnifies Game Sponsor, Administrator, and other certain parties. Claimed winners must have correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question on the Compliance, Release, and Indemnity Form.Potential winners of WestJet Dollars must provide their WestJet Rewards ID and agree to the disclosure of their name and WestJet Rewards ID to WestJet, an Alberta partnership for prize processing purposes. If a potential winner refuses or fails to timely return the required documents with proof of identity, in accordance with these Official Rules, or is found to have violated the Official Rules of the Digital Game in any way, or is deemed ineligible to receive a prize for any reason, or if any prize or prize notification from Game Sponsor or Administrator is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and will be deemed to have forfeited the prize in question. If the potential winner is disqualified and forfeits the prize, Game Sponsor may hold a drawing to select an alternate prize winner from among the pool of remaining, eligible entries received or withdraw the prize.

A minimum of three (3) attempts will be made to contact the winner to arrange for pick-up of any prize. Prizes that are not claimed within ten (10) days of the third attempt to be contacted will be deemed forfeited. In the case of the Online Sweepstakes prizes, Game Sponsor may hold a drawing to select an alternate prize winner from among the pool of remaining, eligible entries received or withdraw the prize.

In all cases, prizes may not be transferred or assigned except as provided herein. No prize substitutions are allowed, except as provided herein. Game Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute an advertised prize (or portion thereof) with a prize it deems to be of equal or greater value for reasons that may include but are not limited to unavailability; or production delays caused by labor disruptions, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen events.

6) ODDS CHART: Odds of winning any Instant Prize and /or Instant More Rewards^® Points Prize are stated in Rule 4(A). Overall odds to win an Instant Prize are 1 in 1.  As stated herein, odds of winning any Spin to Win prize depends on the number of spins made. Odds for Online drawing prize depends on the number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules prior to each drawing. 

7) PUBLICITY: Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Game Sponsor to use any winner's name, likeness, voice and/or comments for advertising, trade, or promotional purposes worldwide in commerce and in any media without limitation or additional compensation unless prohibited by law. The names of the Digital Online Sweepstakes Drawings prize winners may be published on the Game Sponsor’s website location, social media channels, and are available by mail (see paragraph 9) after the promotion ends, following verification of all prize winners.

8) PRIVACY: Game Sponsor will be collecting personal data about you for the Digital Game and for purposes of market research.  If you enter the Digital Game, you grant Game Sponsor permission to send you Digital Game updates and winner notifications by email. You may at any time decline to receive future related communications from More Rewards by going online and updating account preferences, or by selecting “unsubscribe” from the footer of any email received.

No such personal data will be transferred or sold to any third party except in the following circumstances:

A) When you give us express permission to do so.

B) When in good faith we believe the law requires it.

C) Under limited circumstances specifically described to you when we collect the information, such as in the rules of digital games, sweepstakes, or other promotions.

D) To affiliated companies, provided that our affiliated companies and their agents and advisors and their respective employees are restricted from using the information for any other purpose other than as described in these Official Rules; and

E) To our respective agents for data processing purposes, our respective professional advisors, and promotional and marketing agencies, provided that such agents, professional advisors, and promotional and marketing agencies are restricted from using the information for any purpose other than as described in these Official Rules.

Game Sponsor may match aggregated, statistical use information to parameters established by third parties, without releasing user information. This information will not contain any personally identifiable information. Game Sponsor may share aggregate information with trading partners, co-branded locations, participating sponsors and advertisers; however, this aggregated information will not contain personally identifiable information. Any requests for access to the information you have supplied, or to update or rectify your information must be made via email, accessible through winwinevent.ca or by prepaid mail sent to "More Rewards Win Win Event, c/o P.O. Box 3009, M.I.P., Markham, ON L3R 6G4”.

9) RESTRICTIONS: The following are prohibited and will result in automatic disqualification from the Digital Game: (1) using any method that artificially increases odds of winning; (2) non-compliance with these Official Rules; and (3) any other act which the Game Sponsor determines in its sole discretion, jeopardizes the integrity or proper conduct of the Digital Game.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR OTHERWISE CORRUPT THE DIGITAL GAME OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, GAME SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10) LIST OF WINNERS: The names of the major prize winners and a copy of the complete Official Rules are available through winwinevent.caor by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to "More Rewards Win Win Event, c/o P.O. Box 3009, M.I.P., Markham, ON L3R 6G4”. Please specify “Rules” and/or “Winners’ List” with your request.

11) DIGITAL GAME MATERIALS: All Digital Tickets and/or online sweepstakes entries (“digital game materials”) will be rejected and judged void if: not obtained from authorized personnel through legitimate channels; any part of any digital game material is unreadable, illegible, altered, counterfeit, defaced, tampered with, forged, produced in error, incomplete, blank, or partially blank or irregular in any way. All digital game materials submitted for verification become the property of Game Sponsor and will not be returned. Liability for the issuance of void digital game ticket, if any, is limited to replacement of digital ticket from random inventory while supplies last. Game Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen digital game materials or for any technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled, or deleted computer, electronic or network transmissions, undelivered digital game materials due to spam filters or any other reason.  

12) GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Participation in the Digital Game constitutes the entrant's ("you" or "your") full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules including the decisions of Game Sponsor and Administrator, which are final with respect to all matters relating to the Digital Game. This Digital Game is void outside the jurisdictions specified in these Rules and were prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, local, and municipal laws and regulations. The Game Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or withdraw the Digital Game or to amend these Official Rules at any time, without prior notice. Unless otherwise noted, all income taxes, fees and all other expenses and surcharges on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prize winners, except as provided herein. The Game Sponsor makes no representations or warranties regarding any awarded prize. By participating in the Digital Game, each entrant agrees to release and hold the Game Sponsor, Prize suppliers, their respective parent companies, Administrators and affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies, legal advisors and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively the "Released Parties"), harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Digital Game or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of any prize or participation in prize-related activities, including without limitation, any loss, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. The Released Parties are not responsible for any technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled, or deleted computer, electronic or network transmissions, undelivered Digital Game Materials due to spam filters or any other reason or entry requests or prize claims that are stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, lost, late, postage-due, damaged, or ineligible. The Released Parties are not responsible for any problem that may arise, including technical failures related to telephone or internet network lines, online computer systems, servers, Internet service providers, hardware, software, viruses, bugs, personal computer failures and/or software and hardware configurations or the non-reception of an email message by the Game Entities for any reason, including line congestion on the Internet or on any website or any combination of these factors. The Released Parties are not liable for any damage to a user's system resulting from entering the Digital Game or downloading any software necessary to enter the Digital Game. In the unfortunate event the Digital Game Website crashes or experiences technical difficulties, the Released Parties are not responsible.

In the event of a dispute regarding who received a Digital Ticket, the Digital Ticket will be deemed to be received by the More Rewards® member associated with the member number used to make the Qualifying Purchase or Ticket Request. In the event of a dispute as to who is the owner of the email address associated with the More Rewards® membership, the owner will be deemed to be the “Authorized Email Account Holder” of the email address provided by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (i.e., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

All entries and prize claims received become the property of Game Sponsor and will not be returned. "Released Parties" are not responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an entrant's participation in the Digital Game.
